"Quiet Time" is sung by Bear and Tutter in the Bear in the Big Blue House episodes "Picture of Health" and "Need a Little Help Today." Bear urges Tutter to take a break from all of his activities and get some rest; while Tutter initially resists Bear's suggestions, he eventually gives in and ends up falling asleep.

The song is later reprised in "Picture of Health" when Tutter and Bear explain "Quiet Time" to Pip and Pop.
