"Quiet Time Song" was sung by Ernie in the 1980s on Sesame Street. Singing underneath an apple tree, Ernie explains that while he likes to have lots of fun, he also enjoys peace and quiet sometimes.
With each verse, an animal is either discovered in the tree, or one climbs up it. By the last verse a squirrel, bird, a hornet's nest, cat, and even Gladys the Cow occupy the tree.
