"Rain Falls" is a Sesame Street song about rain sung by Oscar the Grouch and Bob. Oscar’s verse is about people getting soaked and trucks splashing mud everywhere, making everyone grumble and complain. Bob’s verse is about how rain makes everything clean and helps things grow. Both verses conclude that "It's kinda nice when rain falls." The song was performed in Episode 0182, 0319, and 0514. Bob performed his verse solo in Episode 1194.
Big Bird sings the first line of Oscar's verse to himself in Episode 1071.
In the album releases of the song, Bob's vocals are removed and Oscar monologues about the rain over the instrumental.
