
Nordstrom's credit on Bear in the Big Blue House
Randy Nordstrom (sometimes credited as Randy Nordstrum) served as lighting director/designer on several Muppet and Henson projects during the 1980s and 1990s, including Sesame Street and Bear in the Big Blue House. For his work on Sesame Street, Nordstrom won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1984, and was nominated for two more in 1982 and 1983.
Like many of his fellow Sesame and Muppet lighting directors/designers, Nordstrom worked for Imero Fiorentino Associates, Inc., from 1981 to 1996.[1] Other lighting credits include episodes of 3-2-1 Contact, The Cosby Show, Kate & Allie (starring Susan Saint James and Jane Curtin), Great Performances, The State, the concert series MTV Unplugged and A&E's Live by Request, and specials starring Gilbert Gottfried and John Denver.
