"Rebuilding Hooper's Store" is a Sesame Street story arc that took place over several episodes in Season 22 (1991).
Having remained mostly untouched for the twenty-two years it had first been seen on Sesame Street (not counting the time preceding that point), Hooper's Store gets a major renovation under the supervision of its then-current proprietor, Mr. Handford. Initially beginning as a list of items that need repair, the store undergoes a complete refit after it's destroyed following what should have been a minor picture frame-hanging project. The job employs Biff, Sully, and Stella for several days, and ends with a grand re-opening.
Outside of the five episodes aired during the second full week of January in 1991, the story has never been repeated or re-distributed in syndication or for home video consumption.
