A small Red Bird, who bears a passing stylistic resemblance to Little Bird, briefly visits Sesame Street in the 1985 film Follow That Bird. The bird communicates only through whistles, and briefly chats with Big Bird, but is soon frightened by a loud crash made by Telly and flies away.
