Respect Brings Us Together is a Sesame Street campaign announced by Sesame Workshop in April 2019 as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebration.[1] The campaign highlights the importance of respecting others, even in disagreement.

Three campaign spots premiered online on April 18, 2019 with the initial announcement, which feature the Sesame Street Muppets interacting with characters from other HBO series and helping them overcome their differences.

Delores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) from Westworld are in the midst of a disagreement, when Cookie Monster (from "Sesame World") helps settle it by having the two share a cookie, and devour it just like he does. The Two-Headed Monster also appears as a saloon pianist, playing the Sesame Street theme on a player piano. (YouTube)

In a recording studio, Common raps about respect with various Muppets; including Big Bird, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, The Martians, The Two-Headed Monster, Ernie, Bert, Grover, Mr. Johnson, Oscar (heard from inside his trash can), Rosita, Cookie Monster, Count von Count, and Slimey. In a locker room in Yankee Stadium, Yankees manager Aaron Boone and Red Sox manager Alex Cora have a disagreement stemming from their teams' famous rivalry. Big Bird enters the room to reconcile their differences. He mentions that when he plays ball with Mr. Snuffleupagus, they're still friends and respect each other regardless of the outcome. The three celebrate and sing the final verse of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." (YouTube)
