Reza Badiyi (1929-2011) was a television director who helmed two episodes of Dinosaurs: "The Mating Dance" and "Employee of the Month."

Badiy was a prolific television director from the late 1960s onwards, directing several episodes each of Mission: Impossible, The Rockford Files, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Superboy, Mannix, Cagney & Lacy, Baywatch, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Other series where he directed only one or two episodes included Police Squad!, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, The Mod Squad, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the season one episode "Out of Mind, Out of Sight.")

Badiyi's particular specialty was staging and directing opening main title sequences for series, several of which became iconic. He directed intros for The Mary Tyler Moore Show (with the hat thrown in the air), Hawaii Five-O (directing several episodes as well), and Get Smart (the revised intro for later seasons).
