Richard Ayoade (b. 1977) is a British comedian and actor, best known for playing the socially awkward Maurice Moss on The IT Crowd.
In 2018, Ayoade appeared on an episode of The Last Leg with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, interacting with them multiple times. At one point, Ayoade informs Kermit that "Muppet" is a pejorative term in Britain.
Ayoade's TV credits include The Mandalorian (voicing a droid), the 2015 revival of Danger Mouse, the 2021 revival of Rugrats, and Black Mirror. His film credits include Paddington 2, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Submarine (which he also directed and wrote), and the Pixar film Soul.
