Richard Condie (b. 1942) is a Canadian animator who directed shorts for the Canadian version of Sesame Street, as well as the American show. His work on the latter included an environmental segment about a flute player who replants a demolished forest (First: Episode 1879).
Condie made several animated shorts for the National Film Board of Canada, including the Oscar-nominated short The Big Snit (1985). For Cordell Barker's 1988 short The Cat Came Back, he produced, sang the title song, and voiced old Mr. Johnson.
- The year The Big Snit was nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Film (Animated), the presenters were Kermit the Frog and Scooter, who announced the title and Condie as one of the two producers.
