Richard Lewis (1947-2024) was a comedian and actor active in the entertainment industry since the early 1970s.
He appeared in a Frito-Lay commercial in 1996 with Miss Piggy and Kathy Ireland. After Piggy breaks down the door to an apartment where a party is taking place, he asks her, "You couldn't knock?"
His other credits include playing Prince John in Mel Brooks's Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and a number of roles on TV shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Everybody Hates Chris, 7th Heaven, and The Simpsons.
