Richard Thomas (b. 1951) is an American actor known for appearing on The Waltons (as John-Boy) and the 1990 television adaptation of Stephen King's IT.
In 1988, Thomas hosted A Grand Night: The Performing Arts Salute Public Television, sharing the stage in a sketch with Placido Flamingo.
His other credits include Battle Beyond the Stars, Barefoot in the Park (with James Cromwell), Wonders Boys (with Katie Holmes and Robert Downey Jr.), Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus (with Edward Asner), Nightmares & Dreamscapes, and The Americans (with Keri Russell).
