Rick Cimino (1929-1991) was a San Francisco-based radio personality and voice actor, heard in several Sesame Street inserts produced by Imagination Inc.. He voiced the Ringmaster, one of the two rattlesnakes in recurring segments dealing with opposites, and both Dr. Frankenstein and his creation demonstrating front and back. (First: Episode 0782)
Cimino was an air personality during the late sixties and seventies at various San Francisco radio stations, including KSFO and KNEW, in various timeslots and formats. As a voice actor, he provided Ewok voices in Ewoks: The Battle of Endor and then in the second season of the Ewoks animated series (as elders Chief Chirpa and Logray). He was also heard on The Pink Panther and Sons and The Dukes for Hanna-Barbera. He played Scrooge in a 1972 radio production of A Christmas Carol and was frequently heard in adaptations of classics and children's stories for audio cassettes produced by Mind's Eye/Jabberwocky, in roles from Long John Silver to the Tin Woodman. He narrated video travelogues and other educational productions.
