Rick Moranis (b. 1953) is a Canadian comic actor best known for his work on SCTV and in films such as Ghostbusters, Little Shop of Horrors (directed by Frank Oz), and the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movies.
Muppet Appearances
- Moranis appeared on Sesame Street during season 23, singing "Stick Out Your Hand and Say Hello" with Bert (First: Episode 2943), and in a spoof of The Hustler with Grover, as pool player "Minnesota Shorts." (First: Episode 2981)
- He starred in the Creature Shop production of The Flintstones, playing Barney Rubble.
- Moranis guest starred in episode 202 of Muppets Tonight.
