Ritamarie Peruggi has served as producer on a number of Henson projects. She served as Executive Vice President of Production and Worldwide Television for The Jim Henson Company with credits including Farscape, Bear in the Big Blue House and Dinosaurs. She also directed several episodes of the company's PBS series Splash and Bubbles and served as a creature consultant on the film Where the Wild Things Are.
In addition to her extensive work with the Henson Company, Peruggi produced all four seasons of the preschool series Yo Gabba Gabba! and the original presentation for Sid and Marty Krofft's Mutt & Stuff. With producing partner Martin Baker, under their American English Entertainment banner, she produced Studio DC: Almost Live and The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora for Disney's Muppets Studio.
Peruggi was a guest at MuppetFest in 2001 and on The Barretta Brothers podcast in 2020, and appeared in The Crystal Calls: Making the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Peruggi is a graduate from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.[1]
