Rosie is the member of a clique of popular girls (along with Emily and Melissa) featured in the Muppet Kids series. The tallest of the group, she has red hair and is often shown with an aloof attitude while blowing bubbles with her chewing gum.
According to Piggy, the trio of girls were "the prettiest, the most popular, and the neatest girls in school." They often came to school wearing matching outfits and always sat together at lunch. They would sit by themselves and talk about the other kids. In the book Piggy Takes a Dare, Piggy wishes she could be more like them.
Mrs. Pritchett had previously yelled at Rosie for breaking her window with a rock.
A student in Mr. Bumper's class, Rosie reappears in classroom scenes in other books; including as Animal's partner for a project in I'm Sorry!.
