In Rosita's Easter on Sesame Street, Rosita learns about different Easter traditions, and invents one of her own.
Rosita observes the preparations on Sesame Street for the Easter picnic. At Elmo's house, Elmo, Zoe and Telly are coloring Easter eggs. Big Bird and Little Bird are bringing marshmallow chicks. Baby Bear has braided bread, Prairie Dawn has made bunny cookies, and Oscar the Grouch is bringing rotten eggs. Ernie has also prepared a jellybean hunt for the Twiddlebugs living in his window box, and Grover has a maypole set up in his backyard.
At the picnic, Rosita reveals the surprise that she's brought -- an Easter song about all of the preparations that she's seen.
