Roy Rogers (1911-1998) was a famous country singer and actor of B-movie westerns. Nicknamed "King of the Cowboys." Married to Dale Evans from 1947 until his death on July 6, 1998. They were both guests on Episode 322 of The Muppet Show.

Signature tune was "Happy Trails," which he performed with Evans on The Muppet Show.
There is a Roy Rogers & Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Missouri.
They hosted their own TV series on CBS from 1951-64.
They gave one of their last public performances together on the 1992 CBS-TV special "Holiday Greetings from Ed Sullivan," which also featured the Muppets.
