The Royal Birds appeared in the royal garden in the Mother Goose Stories episode "Dicky Birds."
The king filled the royal garden with all the finest birds in the kingdom for his bird-loving daughter to enjoy. These snobbish birds live a pampered life in the garden and look down upon dicky birds for being so plain. They feel such creatures are unworthy of royal attention.
