Rupert is a minor recurring Fraggle, first appearing in the debut season of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.
He is first seen in the episode "The Legend of Icy Joe," where he blasts a trumpet to introduce the Storyteller's song of the titular character. When the Storyteller gives him some encouragement (as his musical talent is virtually nill), he comments, "Bless you, sweetheart," hinting at a close and valued relationship with her.
He later appears in the episode "Wembley the Spokesfraggle" where Wembley tries to convince him to eat some of the foul-tasting Doozer constructions recently made, saying that he may not be "cool" enough to like it.
He makes several cameos throughout the second season of Back to the Rock, notably in the episode "The Great Radish Ball" where he bumps into an Inkspot and causes them to drop their stack of trays.
