Ruthie was the affable owner of the Finders Keepers second-hand store, which was located "Around the Corner" on Sesame Street.
When the "Around the Corner" area was removed from the show, Ruthie continued to appear in inserts and the occasional street scene through Season 32, usually in costume as other characters.
