Süddeutsche Zeitung ("South German Newspaper") is Germany's largest national subscription daily newspaper, published out of Munich since 1945. The newspaper's Friday issue includes the weekly Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, a magazine-style supplement.
On Friday January 17, 2014, the magazine featured a Muppet installment of its silent interview series "Sagen Sie jetzt nichts" ("Don't say anything now"), having Kermit the Frog answer questions in photographed poses only. The promotional interview with the frog was featured that day to coincide with the free-TV launch of Disney Channel Germany. Photographer was Heinz Augé.
