Sally Spingel-Spungel-Sporn is a newscaster who appeared occasionally in the first season of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, reporting on notable events and supplying exposition.
She appeared in "The Muckster" (where she was played by Camille Bonora), "Max the Hero" (covering Max's act of bravery) and "Horton Has a Hit" (reporting on Horton's rise to fame, and its effects on his son).
Her name is derived from one of the characters of the 1967 book The Cat in the Hat Songbook.
