Sam-I-Am appeared regularly in the second season of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. Debuting in the 1960 book Green Eggs and Ham, Sam-I-Am re-appears in the series as a helpful if still cajoling figure who often lends a hand to The Cat in the Hat. Terrence McBird is a frequent target of Sam's ministrations.
