Sam McMurray

Sam McMurray (b. 1952) is a character actor who voiced Roy Hess and occasional guest roles on Dinosaurs.

McMurray is best known as a cast member on The Tracey Ullman Show and in supporting roles in films such as L.A. Story (with Steve Martin), Raising Arizona, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (with Chevy Chase), and Addams Family Values (with Raúl Juliá). He recurred on The King of Queens (Supervisor O'Boyle), Freaks and Geeks (Neal's dad), and The Fosters (Frank Cooper) and played the Tom Hanks role in the short-lived A League of Their Own TV series. Guest spots include Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, The Tick, Boston Legal, NYPD Blue, Matlock, and many others.

Apart from Dinosaurs, McMurray's voice credits include The Simpsons, Recess (Gus's dad and others), Pinky and the Brain, The Critic, The Boondocks, several animated Batman projects, and the NPR Star Wars radio series.
