"Sand in Shoes Blues Song" is a Sesame Street live-action film insert.

A little boy sings a blues song about his day at the beach. When he dips his feet in the water, it proves to be too cold and he runs out to put his shoes back on. He soon realizes that he has sand in his shoes, and after walking a while on the shore with his mom, he finds a small pool of water that isn't as cold as the ocean. He washes away the sand from his feet, brushes sand off his clothes, puts his shoes back on, and they both head on home as he says goodbye to his "cold ocean blues."
