	Episode 0131 scene 2 (1970) Oscar makes two brief cameos as Big Bird sings "Everyone Makes Mistakes." In the first, Oscar sinks into his can just as Big Bird emerges from Hooper's Store. In the second, Big Bird knocks on Oscar's can and sings a verse as Oscar reacts and retreats into his can again.
	Episode 0524 scene 4 (1973) Oscar (whose dialogue is prerecorded) tells Big Bird that he has a beautiful new pet who can fly. Big Bird makes two guesses as to what it could be, which are both segues into animal film inserts. Oscar finally reveals his new pet is a fly named Frank, who lands on Big Bird's nose.
	Episode 1040 scene 2 (1977) Big Bird tells Oscar to let him inside his trash can, but Oscar refuses. Big Bird snaps back with a grouchy attitude, which impresses Oscar so much he invites him in.
	Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (1978) Big Bird and Oscar appear in four scenes together. In the first, taking place outside the skating rink, Oscar plants the idea that Santa Claus may not be able to fit through the chimney to deliver presents, which concerns Big Bird and Patty. Big Bird proposes a couple of ways Santa can come down the chimney to Oscar in two scenes during the "True Blue Miracle" number. Near the end of the special, Oscar enters Gordon and Susan's apartment to spring Big Bird a question about the Easter Bunny.
	Episode 1319 scene 1 (1979) Big Bird's legs (performed by Debi Spinney) walk past Oscar on the dock.
	Episode 1902 scene 1 (1984) In Big Bird's fantasy, showcasing Barkley as the world's smartest counting dog, Oscar appears to ask Barkley "how many people live in China?"
	Follow That Bird (1985) Early in the film, Big Bird crashes near Oscar's trash can area while rollerskating, prompting Oscar to laugh and say "Nice work turkey." Later, as Big Bird is about to leave Sesame Street, he says goodbye to Oscar. Touched, Oscar replies, "That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."

	Episode 2455 scene 6 (1988) Oscar reads his newspaper as Big Bird gathers everyone to announce Luis and Maria are getting married. As everyone cheers, Oscar ducks into his can in disgust.
	Episode 2549 scene 4 (1989) Big Bird relays the news to Oscar that his seagull, Stinky, has gone to live with her bird friends and won't be coming back. Oscar stays inside his can, opening his lid slightly at first, and is heard in voice-over until Big Bird leaves.
	Episode 2709 scenes 1 & 2 (1990) Big Bird hears Snuffy's voice and peeks from behind his doors. Snuffy tells Big Bird he's talking to Oscar, who responds "Yeah!" After Big Bird leaves, Caroll Spinney switches to performing Oscar. In the next scene, Big Bird has a conversation with Oscar. Oscar is partially heard in voice-over from inside his can, but he briefly pops up for a one-on-one with Big Bird when he describes how people stand around his can. The camera cuts from Oscar to Big Bird staring at him before cutting back.
	Sesame Street Home Video Visits the Hospital (1990) Oscar appears as one of Big Bird's visitors during his stay at the hospital, commenting that the place is so clean, it makes him sick. Later, when Big Bird and Maria arrive on Sesame Street, Oscar is the first person to welcome them home, announcing "Hey, the turkey's back, and he looks disgustingly healthy." Big Bird responds "Hi Oscar."
	Episode 2805 scene 3 (1991) Big Bird and Telly debate over whether Oscar is light green or dark green, so they try to get him to come up from his can and show his face. Oscar stays concealed and makes comments (in voice-over) to shoo them away. Big Bird, Telly, and Kaitlin pretend to leave the premises, and Oscar eventually comes up only to get spotted by them.
	Episode 2830 scene 4 (1991) Telly volunteers to help Oscar, (unable to speak), and assembles everybody (including Big Bird) around the can, then tells them to leave Oscar alone.
	Big Bird's Birthday or Let Me Eat Cake (1991) Oscar appears during the opening number "Big Bird's Beautiful Birthday Bash," plucking some feathers off of Big Bird. When Big Bird exclaims "Ouch!" a second time, Gina scolds Oscar, who explains "I only tried to put them back."
	Episode 2971 scene 5 (1991) Both Big Bird and Oscar along with others gather around as Snuffy drinks up all the flooded water from Oscar's can.
	Episode 2977 scene 3 (1992) In an imaginary scenario, Oscar pops up and berates Big Bird for moving his nest in front of his trash can.
	Episode 3158 scene 3 (1993) Oscar and Big Bird are seen together in a brief shot as Elmo and the others head off to the next golf hole.

	Episode 3656 scene 1 (1997) Big Bird (performed by Spinney) greets Oscar's Newsstand before greeting Oscar, who tells him to get lost.
	Episode 3661 scene 1 (1997) Oscar places a trash bag around his can before Big Bird comes out his nest area and acknowledges the viewer.
	Episode 3698 (1998) Caroll Spinney performs Big Bird in the cold open, and switches to performing Oscar for the rest of the Street plot. Big Bird (whose lines are prerecorded by Spinney, and puppeteered by Matt Vogel^[1]) makes occasional comments to Snuffy as the WASA space shuttle prepares for liftoff.

	Episode 3790 scene 7 (1998) For most of the episode, Caroll Spinney performs Big Bird until Oscar appears, now being performed by Matt Vogel, but still voiced by Spinney.
	Episode 3794 (1998) As Big Bird comes out from his nest area, Oscar reacts upon seeing him and goes down into his can.
	Episode 3797 scene 6 (1998) Caroll Spinney performs Big Bird the entire episode except scene 6, where he performs Oscar.
	Episode 3800 scene 8 (1998) Big Bird and Elmo wonder what else they can do on V Day. Oscar suggests they vamoose, and they do so.
	Episode 3804 scenes 5 and 7 (1998) Matt Vogel performs Big Bird only in scenes 5 and 7 whenever he passes Oscar, who's performed by Caroll Spinney.
	Episode 3831 scene 7 (1999) Big Bird, Telly and Gordon show up at Oscar's can and ask why he put marbles in their boat, the USS Terrific.

	What's the Name of That Song? (2004) In several scenes throughout the video, Oscar torments Big Bird into finding out "what's the name of that song."
	Episode 4625 (2016) Elmo and Abby Cadabby tend to Big Bird's boo-boo and give him a choice of rainbow or birdie bandages. Oscar watches from nearby, disgusted, asking who needs boo-boo bandages. Big Bird replies "I do—to cover, protect, and heal my boo-boo."
