Savion was a hip young dude seen on Sesame Street from Season 22 (1990-1991) to Season 26 (1994-1995). He and Gina were close in age, and the two were friends. In Episode 3140 after getting a nasty phone call from somebody whos aw Savion and Gina hanging out together, they explained to Telly Monster that some people have problems with people of different races being friends.
Savion was played by tap dancer Savion Glover, and frequently danced on the show. He aso helped teach Elmo how to tap dance.
