Scotty appears in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Horton Hears a Hit."
The rodent-like creature is shown to be Morton the Elephant Bird's best and only true companion in the Jungle of Nool, standing by Morton when the other jungle denizens in his age group shun and mock him. He sticks with Morton still as Horton rises in fame, and Morton's previous bullies are now his fair-weather friends. Scotty eventually becomes ignored due to Morton's rise in popularity as a result.
