"See the Signs" is a song sung by Chris Brown and Elmo in Sesame Street Season 38. The pair sing the song as they wander through the city, reading all the different signs.
The song was nominated for a 2008 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Original Song in a Children's/Animated Series, along with another Sesame Street song ("Get Up, Get Out"). Both songs, plus two others, lost to the theme song of Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman.

- Brown turned himself in to police on February 8, 2009, following an altercation with his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna. Brown was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats to Rihanna, and was under investigation for a domestic violence charge. In response, Sesame Workshop announced that "a 2007 Sesame Street episode guest-starring Brown is being pulled from future airings."[1] In addition, the song's release on Sesamestreet.org was removed from the website. The streaming releases of Episode 4135 and Episode 4163 replaced the segment with the song "Counting Friends."
