The Good Ship Sesame
Sesame Island is a tropical-themed area of Sesame Place, added to the park in 1990. The island is formed by the 1,000 foot Big Bird's Rambling River and is highlighted by the 60-foot "Good Ship Sesame" marking the entrance onto the island.

Cookie Monster's Funnel Cakes & More[]
Cookie Monster's Funnel Cakes & More serves funnel cakes and ice cream. It was previously Grover's Island Grille (until 2022), and was originally Snuffy's Snack Bar.
Abby's Paradise Theater[]
Abby's Paradise Theater, formerly known as Paradise Theater, has shown various stage shows including Let's Play Together, Gotta Dance, Oscar's Big Game Show, and Abby Cadabby's Treasure Hunt.
Sand Castle Beach[]
Sand Castle Beach is a large beach-like sandbox and playground.
Island Cabanas[]
Guests can rent private cabanas in various areas of the park. The cabanas located in Sesame Island are called the Island Cabanas.
Rosita's Cocina[]
Previous to 2022, it was Captain Ernie's Bistro. Earlier names include Captain Ernie's Grill and Captain Ernie's Cafe. The building overlooks Big Bird's Rambling River.
Trader Bert's Treasures[]
Trader Bert's Treasures sells items such as bathing suits, towels, water shoes, and other types of summer and water supplies. It is located next to Rosita's Cocina.
Bert & Ernie's Splashy Shores[]
In 2023, Bert & Ernie's Splashy Shores replaced Ernie's Waterworks.
Former attractions[]
Ernie's Duck Pond[]
Ernie's Duck Pond was a game of chance. The area formerly housed Oscar's Trashcan Bandstand, a play area.
Ernie's Waterworks[]
Ernie's Waterworks was a water play area. It was replaced by Bert & Ernie's Splashy Shores in 2023.
