The Sesame Place Store is a shopping location at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania. The 6,800 square foot store is the largest Sesame Street-themed store in the world.[1]
Located at the entrance of the park, guests can visit freely without having to pay the park's entrance fee.
While the store had its grand opening on October 8, 2023, season pass members were able to shop two days earlier, on October 6, followed by a soft opening on October 7.[2]
Exterior[]
The exterior facade of the shop running towards the park entrance is intended to resemble Philadelphia, particularly the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The facade running on the opposite side depicts "Sesame City," based on New York City, and features locals such as the Furry Arms Hotel and "Biff & Sully Construction."
World's Largest Elmo Plush[]
The Sesame Place Store houses the world's largest Elmo plush, produced by Just Play.[2] It was previously on display at the 2023 North American International Toy Fair.[3]
