"Sesame Street Fever" is the first song on the album of the same name, and it sets the tone for the whole album. Guest star Robin Gibb sings about how disco fever has taken over the entire country, even here on Sesame Street. During the song, various cast members talk about the disco phenomenon, including the Count, Big Bird, and Ernie.
