Kermit interviews Cinderella and Prince Charming, who are dancing at the ball. Kermit asks Cinderella to describe her outfit, but the prince thinks Kermit is asking him and he describes his outfit. The clock strikes midnight and Cinderella has to leave. After Cinderella leaves, she leaves one glass slipper behind. The prince wants to use it to find Cinderella...so he can have the other slipper as well. He then accidentally breaks the one he found. "Well, easy come, easy go," he says.
The story of "Cinderella" would later be represented in two more News Flash segments, Prince Charming Looks for Cinderella and Cinderella's Fairy Godmother.
