Dr. Nobel Price reveals his latest captured creature, which turns out to be a live rabbit. Dr. Price captured him through a pursuit through steaming jungles, snow and ice, and across burning deserts (which are not generally the habitats of rabbits). The good doctor is frustrated to learn he spent five years tracking what is not an endangered species.
In the original script, the enormity of Dr. Price's mistake is further emphasized by a sign on the cage reading "Flopsy" Rabbit. In the final version, Kermit just speculates that the rabbit is called Flopsy and checks on its welfare at the end.
Dr. Price continues to call rabbits "poonga-poongas" when a Muppet bunny passes by in Episode 1818.
