Kermit looks for the Old Woman who Lives in a Shoe.
At first he ends up visiting the Young Man who Lives in a Glove (if you knocked on his door he'd give you a shove) and the Young Woman who Lives in a Hat (who could bark like a dog and meow like a cat).
When Kermit finally arrives at the old woman's house, she quickly, and without asking, puts him in charge of babysitting her many children so she can go bowling (she is a member of the Gray Panthers Bowling League.)
Ten of her children are named. She tells Heather and Johnny not to fight; Brian, Lisa and Cheryl not to watch too much television; and Polly and Kate to go to bed when the frog says. One of the children calls out for his sisters Amanda and Rachel; and when Kermit arrives at the shoe, one of the kids refers to another as Frankie.
