Speaking from a theatre auditorium, Kermit describes the following performance as "the musical event of the century" because music lovers from around the world have gathered in tribute to the Oogle Family: words that rhyme with "oogle," such as bugle and googol.
The featured piece of music was written by Sir Chrissy Von Koogle and played on the bugle by Old MacDougal, one of the world's foremost concert buglers. He is accompanied by Mr. Cookie Monster, one of the world's finest googlers. Together, they perform "Google Bugle," sung to the tune of "Old McDonald Had a Farm."
Notes[]
- This sketch does not begin with the Sesame Street News Flash logo, but Kermit's reporter outfit is draped over a theatre seat and he explains to someone off camera that his tux is a rental.
