In 2025, NECA released a series of Sesame Street action figures as part of their "Ultimate" line, including Ernie, Bert, and Count von Count. Each are fully articulated and come with several accessories. They are sculpted by Paul Harding.[1] The packaging art, designed by Aaron Hazouri,[2] is based on The Sesame Street Treasury book series.
Ernie and Bert began releasing in January 2025[3] and had a wider, in-store release at Target in February.
Figures of Big Bird (with Radar and Mr. Hooper's picture), Herry Monster (with Hercules), and Oscar the Grouch (with Slimey, a Grouch duckie, and his pet elephants) were displayed at the 2025 Toy Fair New York.
Ernie[]
Ernie comes with his Rubber Duckie, a portrait of himself and Bert, and the letter C. The figure comes with a total of two heads and six hands.
Bert[]
Bert's accessories include his pet pigeon Bernice, his bottle cap and paper clip collections, a copy of Boring Stories, and the letter A. Like Ernie, the figure comes with two heads (along with removable hair and eyebrow) and six hands.
Count von Count[]
An official image of a Count von Count figure, along with Bert and Ernie, was showcased in NECA's December 2024 "Ultimate Collection Visual Guide."[4] It was released in March 2025 as part of Haulathon. He includes a candelabra, telephone, and number 2. He also comes with an extra head, and extra hands.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, the figure was shown to be including a bat accessory, which has been excluded from the final product.
