Ideal produced several Sesame Street baby monitoring systems, including a nursery monitor and two-way intercom system in 1986, as well as a portable monitor and beeper system.
The monitor, in the shape of Big Bird playing with his teddy bear Radar, transmits a baby's voice to their parent's remote unit. Parents can turn on music from their unit to help restless babies get back to sleep.
