Beginning in 2021, Retrokid (a Canadian retro apparel company co-founded by Eric Bauza) produced multiple lines of Sesame Street shirts, including T-shirts and hoodies. The company also produced Sesame Street tote bags and pins.

On August 12, two weeks prior to the release of the collection, an exclusive pop-up shop was held in Toronto for Retrokid Club members. Walk-arounds of Elmo and Cookie Monster were present.[1] The walk-arounds were again present at Retrokid's booth at Fan Expo Canada, held from August 24-27.[2]

Retrokid released a line of shirts (and tote bags and bookmarks) based on The Monster at the End of This Book on January 23, 2025.[3]
