A Sesamstraat 45th Anniversary Coin was produced by Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt to celebrate Sesamstraat's 45th anniversary in 2021. This coin set of 12 has with each coin a different character on one side and the "45th year logo" on the other side.
The coin is heavily silver plated and has the Muppets in original color. It's about 33mm cross-sectional and 15,8g in weight.
The presented characters are: Pino, Ernie, Tommie, Ieniemienie, Graaf Tel, Bert, Purk, Super Grover, Elmo, Oscar Moppermonster, Koekiemonster, and the Sesamstraat original characters.
It is a collection that comes in the form of a membership with each month one coin and certificate, a numbered owner certificate for the collection as whole. A storage folder for each coin card is available as well.
