Sharon Groan is a Grouch take-off of Sharon Stone who appeared in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Sharon is the star of the movie Basically It Stinks, and an unpopular Grouchland celebrity. When posing for the paparazzi she tells them to get her good side - only to remember she doesn't have one.
The same Grouch puppet is also used as the Grouch Ice Cream Customer in the film, and later as a utility puppet on Sesame Street.
