Sharon Groan is a Grouch take-off of Sharon Stone who appeared in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Sharon is the star of the movie Basically It Stinks, and a popular Grouchland celebrity.
The same grouch puppet is also used as the Grouch Ice Cream Customer.
