Sharon Roffman is a violinist who as a child was one of the Kids on Sesame Street, appearing from Season 14 to Season 22.[1] Debuting as one of Bob's violin students in Episode 1736, she appeared primarily when a child violinist was called for and was a frequent musician in Bob's Sesame Street Band. With other kids, she recorded vocals for the filmed insert "Conga Counting Song."[2]
As an adult, Roffman became a classical violinist and in 2018 became the leader of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. She has performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony, various chamber groups, and on BBC concerts.
