"Shining Star" was featured in the 1999 film Muppets from Space. The original version by Earth, Wind & Fire plays as Gonzo travels through space to meet the Cosmic Fish.
A cover by The Dust Brothers was recorded for the film's soundtrack. This version appears during the end credits and as a music video, set to clips from the movie, included on VHS and DVD releases of the film.
