Shirley Denny, sometimes spelled Shirley Denney, worked as a costume designer and in other visual capacities in film and television. For The Dark Crystal, she was an associate costume designer for the Mystics and was involved in "The Dark Crystal Clothing Collection" fashion line.[1] She subsequently was credited for the jewellery in Labyrinth.
According to a November 1982 Vogue article on the Dark Crystal fashions, Denny had worked on Star Wars and the 1970s live-action Spider-Man TV series. She received screen credit on Alien (for model making) and The Meaning of Life (costumes again).
