Picture	Segment	Description
	SCENE 1	Itzhak Perlman welcomes the viewer to Rechov Sumsum and describes its similarities to its American counterpart, such as having a barvazoni (a Rubber Duckie, who can even squeak in Hebrew).
	SCENE 1 cont'd	Bonnie Franklin is on a trip to Israel and visits Rechov Sumsum. There, she meets some of the locals - Miki, Chaim and Kippi Ben Kippod, who teach her a little Hebrew and recommend some locations she should go to. Moishe Oofnik simply tells her to go away.
	Song	"Metula" - A song describes the geography of the Northern Israeli city.
	Muppets	Bert tells Ernie not to eat cookies in bed, because he might get crumbs in the bed. Ernie decides to eat cookies in Bert's bed instead. Bert's lines are dubbed in Hebrew. Ernie's first line ("Yes, Bert?") is re-dubbed in English by an unknown performer.
	SCENE 2	Itzhak reports from Rechov Dizengoff in Tel Aviv and talks to some kids who are residents of the area. Itzhak describes growing up not far from the street and gets lost in his memories of the nearby zoo.
	Cartoon	Animals sing "Shalom!" to each other.
	Film	An Israeli Arab boy looks for his grandfather, but everyone he ask tells him he's "over there." He walks around the village until he finds him at the mosque.
	SCENE 3	Itzhak now reminisces about his school days, writing his aleph-bet on the blackboard.
	Cartoon	Aleph-Bet Song (male vocals)
	Cast / Muppets	Rechov Video A VJ (played by an on-screen Sarai Tzuriel) introduces the show, which plays the "newest and nowest" in rock music. She presents her special guest VJs - Itzhak and Barvazoni, who is there to promote his latest video. They then introduce "Rubber Duckie." Ernie's singing vocals are dubbed, but his dialogue in the middle remains in English.
	SCENE 4	A boy introduces Bonnie to the city of Jerusalem. A montage of city sights follows.
	Cartoon	An aniyah (ship) blows smoke, which forms an Aleph.
	SCENE 5	Bonnie and some kids introduce the letter Aleph, which begins ani (the pronoun "I"). They each introduce themselves ("Ani Bonnie"), when Moishe chimes in - "Ani...going to be sick!"
	Song	"Haifa" - A song promotes the modern port city.
	SCENE 6	Bonnie and Ofrah observe some posters being hung on Rechov Sumsum. Even though Bonnie can't read Hebrew, can she easily recognize one of Bruce Springsteen. Ofrah details one of Haim Moshe, an Israeli music star. A flashback (from Rechov Sumsum) is then shown, where he sings "Sheer Ha-shechenut" to the residents of the street.
	Animation	A man sits on a bench, not noticing the tezva tari (wet paint) sign. Artist: Rony Oren
	Film	Kids climb the Masada, a famous mountain in Israel.
	Cartoon	Train #2
	Celebrity	Mary Tyler Moore learns some Hebrew words from Maya. She feeds Mary some easy ones at first, but Mary struggles with aruchat tzaharayim (lunch).
	Song	"Fun in the Afternoon" (An image of Ernie appears on one child's Hippity-Hop.)
	Cartoon	A boy counts 10 stairs as he climbs them with his sack of toys.
	SCENE 7	Itzhak describes the history of the city of Caesaria and performs in the Roman Theater, claiming it's now home to violins and not violence.
	Closing	Kippi announces the sponsors.
