Simon Pegg (b. 1970) is a British actor, comedian, and writer known for scripting and starring in the sitcom Spaced and the films Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End. He voiced the Chamberlain on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and was interviewed in the documentary The Crystal Calls: Making the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.

Pegg co-created and starred as Tim Bisley on Spaced (1999-2001), and re-teamed with series director Edgar Wright and co-star Nick Frost on the films Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World's End. With Frost only, he wrote and co-starred in the alien encounter comedy Paul. In Hollywood franchises, he joined the Mission: Impossible movies as Benji and played Scotty in the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies (also co-writing Star Trek Beyond). He made guest appearances on Doctor Who, Band of Brothers, and Black Books.
