Telly is suspicious of sitting on a broken seat again, so Oscar not only lets him have his seat, but offers to hold his popcorn so it doesn't spill. Telly sits and is relieved to have not fallen down, but as soon as Oscar gives him back his popcorn—CRASH!
The two watch an all Grouch interpretation of Fiddler on the Roof. At the site of a trashy cabin, one Grouch (resembling the main character Tevye) keeps chiding a Grouch fiddler about his placement until he's finally sitting on the roof. Two more Grouch fiddlers take their places under the roof and in the house. They then perform an off-key arrangement of the familiar Fiddler overture.
Oscar enjoys the film and, departing from his normal rating of "phooeys," gives it five "yays." Telly enjoyed the film except for the soundtrack, but finds he's unable to select the proper combination of "yays" and "phooeys" to express his mixed opinion.
