Maria and Olivia appreciate Slimey's cute, teeny television set, and watch as he tunes into "Sneak Peek Previews." Telly comments on the new seats, only to find there's still a broken one. Oscar derides their feature as "silly" before it even begins: a film of ostriches running set to a piano score. Telly claims that the ostriches must have practiced their dancing, rating it five "wows." Oscar critiques the music and choreography, noting no one's feet were stepped on, and gives an unenthusiastic one-and-a-half "phooeys." The two stand their ground and start shouting a barrage of "phooeys" and "wows" at each other.
After the show, expressing their own critical acumen, Maria praises the film as lovely, but Olivia, with a dismissive "Hmmph," thinks it's silly. Slimey is shown smiling and enjoying the argument.
